Two Destinies - Distant Memories

DISTANT
MEMORIES

Appreciating the present moment involved reflecting on our past.

Distant Memories immerses spectators in a space where tenderness and abstraction meet to rewrite our history and ourselves.

  • The Spiritual Dance - Distant Memories
  • Self Portrait - Distant Memories

Each photo in the series can be interpreted in many ways, telling a multitude of stories.

By plunging viewers into a universe of pastel tones and indeterminate boundaries, I invite them to reconsider what they see and image new narratives.

This experimental process allowed me to create photos that I consider unique.

Distant Memories

Distant Memories also serves as therapy, expressing things I never mentioned to my loved ones. Like a catharsis, I created images that represent emotions deeply buried in my past. The surrealist touch reminds us of the sometimes irrational and offbeat nature of our memories.
Landscapes, still lifes, foggy, blurred, distorted portraits… although "Distant Memories" may seem confusing at first, the more we study and observe it, the more we imagine and discover new stories. And it is this parallel between stories and memories that is interesting and that I try to highlight in this series.
